It's a 20th Anniversary StingRay 5 H/S... THE only one in a lefty! I just bought a Kurzweil K2661 today (keyboard gigs pay for basses) I'll be too broke to buy a 08LE... but you never know.

I tell you Chuck, I think you need to unload some basses to raise some more cash for more EB/MMs.

I'll take your Rob Allen Mouse and Lakland JO.

Paypal?

Pack 'em nice and tight for me, would you. . .

:D

Hey you been talkin' to my wife?

I may off a couple of MIJ jazz basses, maybe a Hot Rod P, the Rob and JO will hang around here for a while longer. Carlos are you still loving the new AM Jazz?

Is that the one with the mahogany tone block in the body? I've always thought mahogany would be the best wood for a Stingray body.

Yeah, compared to guys like Chuck and Peter we're small fry bass collectors Carlos.

LOL. . . Yes, I'm still loving the AM Jazz. I'm quite depressed because my GAS is almost gone. . . :( So I feel a loss of purpose in my life.

The only basses that I'm considering right now are, well, a Mouse and Lakland JO, a Spector maybe.

I have made up my mind about 4- vs. 5-string, and I'm going to stay with 4 strings. Screw it.

There are a few '70s Jazz basses around, tempting me, but man, every time I pickup the AM Jazz I say to myself that there can't possibly be a better sounding Jazz bass out there, not a Sadowsky, not an Alleva, not a '70s Jazz. . .

Anyhow, if your wife ever threatens you more seriously, or if you misfiled your taxes in 1973 and the IRS is claiming you own them $2 million in back taxes, I'll take the Mouse and JO. . .

After all, what are friends for.

P.S.> BTW, congrats on the 20th Ann. SR5. . . that's gonna be special.

Congrats on the 20th Ann. SR5!
I will never understand why those kind of models are only reserved for righties at EB
Ok this is a special model, but i'll be happy to find a H/H Stingray, or Sterling
Is there an explanation?

Well if you've settled on the bass model you're happy with Carlos maybe it's time to trick them out a bit. Buy yourself that second new Fender Jazz and get the custom paint job you were wanting.

I really thought I was done buying for a while but in the past two weeks 4 basses have come up on my radar that I'd love to have. There's too damn many sweet basses out there and not enough paychecks!!

Man, that's impressive. That attention to detail is really cool of them.

That is sweet. I've never seen a MM without a pickguard.
