I'm getting ready to sell off a few basses and guitars, and I need some boxes. It's not hard to find them online, but I hate buying blind, even for cardboard.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I would say get them from Reverb. If there is a problem with it, you can get it resolved through them.

Sam Ash used to sell them, but …. :(

I don’t know about Guitar Center. They gave me one once, but that was after I had just spent some money there. I don’t know if they sell boxes or give them away.

Thanks. I'm trying to avoid Reverb. I was first going to try them here LeftyBassist to see what I can do.

I've also got craigslist in mind and will be trying there too.

Some Mom and Pop music stores may have a few they would sell really cheap. My local music store (non-chain) I asked them for about 3 guitar boxes and they sold them to be for $30 for all three. In reality its win win as they would just trash them if they have a few spare.

I've use Uline for years. Top quality for shipping boxes!! Even tho I don't agree with the owner's political leaning, they are the best available IMHO.
