Someone on the bass player Facebook forum just posted some info about this company. Anybody have any experience? What makes this really intriguing is you can build your own custom lefty bass, but you have a plethora of different and unusual design options (or you could go with a traditional P or J if you wanted too), including Guild B302, Gibson RD Artist, Explorer, etc. and a plethora of different pickup options, woods, scales, knobs, preamps, etc.

Here's a few I quickly built with the online builder:

Guild style B302:

Pretty awesome!
Never heard of this but I've noticed this website and the bass builder have the exact same layout as in the Halo Guitars website but the instruments are different.
https://www.haloguitars.com/store/custom-bass.html
I was reading the "about" section at the Balaguer website and he mentions these custom basses being built in South Korea.
The Guild B301 look alike looks so cool!

Very similar web design indeed!

Yes, South Korea or Indonesia, depending on the model you choose. At least that means they're cheaper than the US made Halos (which are still pretty reasonable for a custom made US instrument). Too expensive for a Korean made instrument though? Considering a US made off the rack Fender Pro II will run you $1900 and a new Chinese made Dingwall will run you over $2500 (and Korean/Indonesian QC has improved in leaps and bounds), I don't think the prices are terrible, especially for a design you can't get anywhere else.
