I've acquired a few since the last family photo, so here we go. I have more than I should, and yet, I've worked my whole life and bought guitars after all other responsibilities were met. But as you can tell, I do feel a bit embarrassed about having even a smallish collection of 16 guitars/basses.

My next acquisition willl be a double bass. Orchestra sizeeeeeeee

The burden of being a lefty, if you run into an instrument you like you either buy it or never see one again in your life. :D

Lovely and versatile collection, lots of cool classics! Just needs a Gretsch and a drumkit, then you can become any Beatle you want :P

It's a good thing I don't play guitar because we have the same number of basses.

Thanks. Yeah, you hold on to them when you get them.

And ytes, I'd love a good old Chet Atkins Gretsch.

For years, I wanted a 335, and I'm not equating them, but my Casino does for me what the 335 would do. I almost sold it, and then I played it one day and thought, Geezers, this is a great semi-hollow. It's off the market. I could use a bit of money now, but I won't sell any of them. It'd be a quick patch and then gone.

You spotted the neck heavy SG bass. Sounds verrrry much like a Grabber, close enough to keep for when I need that sound. It'll never go live. It's a bass for recording.

The cool thing about the Casino is it's not a semi-hollow but a full hollowbody, because it doesn't have a center block. Tremendously cool guitars :)

That's a sweet collection, congrats!
I had an Epiphone SG righty years ago and I flipped the strings as well and it sounded great.
Cheers!

Epiphone's Chinese factory is putting out better instruments than the Epiiphone was putting out a few years ago--the guitars had so much poly that they looked like a sugar encased donut. And yes, that hollow body produces some great tones. I didn't even have to switch pups. It's beautiful clean or dirty. When my hands recover, I'll play it more.

Great, thanks! I love the Cavern pickup spacing. Glad you’re still loving the Euroburst, it’s a nice one :)

You gave me a great deal on it. It's perfect in m¥ hands. I'm knocked out b¥ how close it sounds to an orchestral instrument. That hollow bo∂¥ reall¥ works.

sorry gu¥s, t¥ping is hard. I've got terrible arthritis and tendonitis and t¥ping is grueling.

A stellar line-up of groovin' instruments... would like to see the colorized picture though, to see the finishes... as they say here in Hawaii, 'if can, can... if no can, no can"... but still... ;)
