And it's mine.
First impressions:
Good things first, it plays and looks nice, sounds very good (more later when I've spent more time with it).
Now for the bad, the mid cut/boost and mid frequency tandem pot is not working properly, they are both turning when either of the knobs is used, even without the knobs this happens, the pot is bad, it's working sort of if I hold one of the two knobs and turn the other one. Going to to contact Thomann about this and see what they are going to do with my complaint.
Both tandem pots were loose in the body, not mounted tight enough.
The locking output jack is not working properly with my Line 6 G10 wireless, there is a workaround for this so it's not bothering me.... But I hate these locking jacks in use, if I keep the bass I will either sabotage the lock or put in another type of jack.

More.

Fooled around with it almost all yesterday evening and decided to keep it (not sure yet if I'm going to contact Thomann).
First conclusions, I like it, the neck is bit thicker and wider than usual with Ibby's, fretwork is very good, default action was too high but could be lowered to my liking (low), intonation was spot on, neck release was exactly how I would set it up.
Love the body colour, roasted neck, pickups and preamp. Bridge saddles/tuners are a nice piece of engineering!

Sabotaged the Neutrik jack lock, what a pain in the *ss this lock.

Forgot to mention the body shape, the contour is very comfy and the slanted back makes this bass very easy to play.

I still haven't quite embraced the body shape, but I have to admit it's growing on me :). I love the colour combo of that green and the roasted maple, and all sound samples I've heard were great!

So, it arrived a couple of hours ago.

The bass looks gorgeous and the shape is great as far as I'm concerned. It's very well setup, but...
1. It has a ding under the electronic plate
2. Both double pots do not work properly: I can use either the top or the bottom knob, both turn at the same time
3. The battery is drained, so I can't try the preamp (I don't have any spare one at home right now)
4. More importantly, one of the pickups does not work at all

I've checked the electronic, and visually everything seems fine. I'm going to contact Thomann to see what they can do about it.

So disappointed!
Moreover, the bass came with a small stamped paper for the different checks that have been made, and everything is green of course.

The battery on mine was drained as well and I just put in a new one, never gave it any thought to mention this.
I never even looked at the stamped card, in my opinion and experience these kind of things are completely useless and unreliable.

Really bad that one pickup is not working and it appears you have the same problem as me but with both dual pots. I hope you get it sorted out, once it's working it's a real nice sounding and playing bass.

Yeah it sucks, I took it to my bass lesson today and it's really comfortable, great playability...

Thomann offered me an exchange or a refund. I've asked my local store and they think they can order it (I didn't even bother to ask them, I was so sure they couldn't get a left-handed model), so I'll probably wait for them to check and order a new one locally, at least they'll be able to fix the quality control issues before I get it :)

I'm a big fan of Ibanez, have owned many over the years... currently have an ATK305L, two SR 206L 6-strings (love 'em! Fantastic necks, and action). Always great build quality... and that's why I'm bummed to hear a new-level instrument, that shows so much promise, has so many quality control issues.. I know we all had such high expectations for this bass, and for the price, it should have no problems... I hope Thomann, and Ibanez sort these problems out, and are able to deliver basses that play like "butter" right out of the box, like we've come to expect from them.

I've received my new one from my local store, and everything works fine: Both pickups, the preamp, all the knobs work well... That's a relief :)
Action is a bit high, so I'll try to do a setup in a few days.
I haven't touched the trussrod, we'll see.

Tone wise I need to play it more to have a real opinion. I'll probably change the pickups in the future to get more growl.
