I like how the specs are written for both new and experienced users

Would be nice if they had a 4 string version as well.

Gonna send some emails and see if this is going to hit the North American catalogue.
Hoshino's new approach in the last few years is to give Europe and Asia all the lefty stuff.

Just so y'all know... I came across "this guy" comparing the Ibanez 1005, and a 1505 5-string... I don't know at the moment if Ibanez offers the1505 in a lefty, but, from his original comparison, the Bartolini's vs the Nordstrom pickups showed a marked difference... he eventually swaps out the Barts for Aguilar's, and the difference is night-and-day... great videos on the subject of comparisons btwn these two basses... he does get a bit wordy in the first minute or two, so fast forward to where he actually starts playing the bass....

Personally, I'd prefer the Ibanez 1505... but, if it's not available as a lefty, then going with the 1005, and replacing the Bart's with the Aguilars would be my choice, to give more clarity to the bass...
