Hi all,

I have a Phil Jones BG-400 combo that I purchased new two weeks ago, and I love it. But this morning it started doing something weird (which it hasn’t done before). A few seconds after I turn it on, I get a sound almost like static electricity that lasts for a second or two, and then when I turn it off, I get a chirping sound. It happens even if the amp is on mute.
I would post an audio recording from my iPhone, but I don’t know how.

Any input is appreciated!

PJB stuff is solid stuff and really shouldn't be giving you any trouble at all. If you're still in the return period, I wouldn't waste any energy on it. Just return/exchange it. If you can't return it, then email/call PJB.

BTW, I have a Bass Cub and I used to have the Big Head. PJB stuff makes both the bassist and the engineer in me happy.
