Yamaha 80's BB1600 Bass

You don't see these very often, let alone in white. Earlier ones were made in Japan. This one's from Taiwan. Not sure if there are major differences, as they all get high marks. Great basses. (Didn't Michael Anthony play one at one point?):

That's a great price, I have a BB300 from this era that I absolutely adore. Who's gonna scoop it up?

There's been a BB400 for sale in South Florida for quite a while...may be worth checking out if you're local and into these basses. I hope to get a chance to try one out someday...

Nope! This one's mine!

Remember about 3 years ago it was up for sale on CL for a long time, the seller kept lowering the price until it got to $150 and a righty bought it ( the seller on offer up).
He made a hole on the lower horn for a strap button and a hole right on top of the neck plate just because he was righty. Go figure.
Anyway he refused to sell it on offer up due to the seller fees and I bought it directly.
As of today it's back to it's former glory, nice and clean with a set of Pyramid flats.
I'll upload some pics on Flickr when I get a chance.
