Finally got the Hoffy I always wanted. Just sold my Euroburst (which I loved) to a board member, which helped me snag this '61 Reissue Cavern Bass.

Well this is also a 500/1 but yep, other than some minor hardware and cosmetic differences, that’s the biggest difference. So far I like the tone better with pickup in the sweet spot.
