I did not have that luxury, but our friend Psycho Ward was offering such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up because I had always wanted to try one and dreamed of owning one when I first started playing bass and had no idea what I really like or dislike in a bass .

Maybe I am losing my mind (which is a very real possibility), but I am sure someone posted on this thread the other day asking for pictures. Regardless, I have been meaning to do it for months, and I almost forgot again today! But, I remembered! Enjoy!

Wow... fifteen years later, and from what I see; no flaws, no chips... a couple of fingerprints on the tuning keys... a 10/10 example from what I see... Nice!

Yeah, the Bongo has always been very polarizing. When I first saw one I thought it was the coolest looking bass I had ever seen. I was a kid in my early 20s, so there was no way I could have even dreamed of affording one at the time.

So now, many years later, I finally get one and decide it would be better off with someone else. I'm just not a humbucker guy, it seems.
