Hey bass nerds,

So, the reason that I'm selling many of my basses is that I ordered a new Czech Spector from Sweetwater.
After my research it feels like the Czech-made basses are the "meat and potatoes" basses in the line, while the
Asian basses are the budget ones, and the USA-made are the boutique basses.

What are your impressions of the Czech-made basses? Are they worth the hype?

Uhh, yeah. I have 2 and have had other. Incredible basses period. They are half the price of the USA basses but not alot of different between them.

You ordered a lefty spector?? I was told they couldn't.

Nice. Thanks. Well, I ordered a model that they already make in lefty (the Bantam) and I should have it by Christmas.

Not the same as a euro. Bolt on, no inlays. Different preamp.

Yes, I'm aware of all of those things. These are Czech-built. I prefer bolt-ons, and there is a line of US-made bolt-ons.

I think we're confusing the term "Euro" vis a vis, the model and the place where it's built.

So, my new Spector will be here on Tuesday! I asked my sales rep at Sweetwater that since they now carry Spectors,
could they hypothetically order lefties, and he says yes. If you're interested, his name is Nick. He'll hook you up.
