That would have been so Bad Ass in the 70's. Lefty basses were rare to top it off with Fretless. Price seems high but the bass seems in good condition.

Very rare indeed, especially with a rosewood fretboard. You almost always see these with the maple fretboard. As cool as these are, however, the P bass configuration doesn't really lend itself to a classic "mwah", as it's more of a thump upright tone (with the tone rolled down). But if that's your thing, I'd say go for it. :) I actually think the price is reasonable given it's rarity.

I'm one of those guys that is jonesing for a 70s P with the maple board. Think early Sting/Police.

About 5 years ago I sold a white one with a maple board to a member for $1600. If I am remembering correctly. It was resold to someone else on this site a while later. It was in mint condition I just never played it (not a fretless player) and was glad to let it go to a good home at a good price.
