Hi
I am looking for a left handed Version of the Tele Bass Control plates to fit to a 54 Tel Body
Pic shows a chrome one in left handed, black pic is a right handed one.
The Problem is, if you just swap a right handed one, you do not have the screw well on top, as it is on the wrong plate side (marked red).

Any ideas where to order the Tele Bass Control plat black in an left handed Version??

I once cut one from an old black pickguard material and it came out good, I suggest having your local luthier cut one.

Have you considered a Harley Benton PB-50?
It’s a well-priced 50’s Precision copy and come in lefty version.
If you like the bass, you could sand and re-shape the headstock or take the parts you want from it for your project. :ugeek:

Thanks for your comment. I want to build it with Warmoth parts and Schaller components in black. I bought now the right black control plate from wdmusic and will try to make the screw holes aligned.
I will build something similar like this

That bass on the Picture above inspired me to build my own Fretless Telecaster Lefty.
Jay Scott assembled that Beauty
