I thought this was funny.... as lefties, many of us have a "relationship" with fingernail polish
because we have to paint in side marker dots on right-handed necks.

I used my GF's Sally Hansen "Red Carpet" on my newest bass. It really stands out since it's metallic.
It also goes well with my lipstick and sparkles under the stage lights.

I have used Sharpie Markers in the past, however they do wear or fade but it's simple enough to use again.

I have used this stuff in the past with great luck. It also helps in dim lighting.

Taught the nail polish trick to a lefty guitarist a few months back, I think it changed his life haha.
I have a primary red shade on my black neck and i wouldn't recommend it, go with something brighter that reflects more light or you won't be able to see it.

I thought I was the only one to do this! Having two daughters (both married and gone) helped. I found a whitish-pearlish fingernail polish that really picked up the stage lighting quite well. Highly reflective in that situation. It was perfect for me.

I have not applied nor reapplied any side dots in a couple of decades. My last two "builds" have no inlays, one has side dots.
