Oh, gosh, I am! I am dying to know what that bass would sound like using the bright/deep switches with a B7K Ultra through my rig (Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 with a Markbass 1×12
). But, I know I shouldn't! That is a great-looking bass, Paulo!
3-3/8" is all the spacing is? Wow. I would have guessed like 5". From the pictures, it looks like you could fit normally-spaced jazz pickups
between the Carvin pickups!
EDIT: Oh! I think part of what is throwing me off is that the Carvin has 24 frets, which makes the neck pickup look closer to the neck and therefore farther away from the bridge than on a typical Fender-style jazz.
That bridge pickup still looks
really close to the bridge, though. Closer even closer than a '75 jazz.
