Maybe it's just me but it's not clear on how this sale would work. From his description it sounds like he wants a buy it now price on each bass listed, but it has a starting bid price of $400. Confusing to me, but I thought I'd post it anyway. Maybe there something there someone would be interested in and could contact the seller and work out a deal.

It looks to me like he is trying to use one listing to sell several basses. I suppose this is to avoid managing and paying for a listing for each bass.

I don't think the starting bid of $400 pertains to anything in particular. He is probably hoping nobody will bid, then he doesn't have to pay for the listing.

I would guess eBay will shut this listing down. He is basically using eBay to advertise items to sell outside of eBay. This must be against eBay's listing policy.

I was just going to post this..... Yea, there is something fishy here.

Check Only and $80 per bass shipping. the listing says $29.52. Someone should report this.

Edit: I contacted the seller in confusion but I reported it.

Yeah, that violates pretty much all of eBay's TOCs. Here it is for those who are curious after it gets pulled, which it undoubtedly will:

Edited to add: I reported it.

Looks like he's trying to get around all the fees lol. I feel his pain but we all have to play by the rules and so does he.

He's trying to avoid fees while putting all of the transaction risk on the buyers. I'm less sympathetic.

It's it's re listed with a clarification as to which bass the $400 opening bid is for. Nothing on the others specifically.

Still in violation of the TOCs, but at least it's not sketchy.
