It's like the long lost brother to my main bass, my prized 68 P, which as far as I can tell, was assembled in 68 with parts dating back to 66, including my prized oval tuners. :-) Oh, if I had the money I'd consider this one just to have a matching pair (almost). But the 'no returns' is a big turn off, regardless of whether I have the money or not... Will be interesting to see what happens with this one!

Sweet! It could stand to show a few more pix though. He says there's 2 additional holes drilled under the bridge cover, but doesn't show any pix.

1968 seems to be one of Fender's busier years for building lefties.

If there's a legitimate issue with the bass, Paypal will issue a refund, regardless of the "no return".

If you're ever in Seattle we'll have to get our "brotherly" basses together. :-)

Did the seller really take the Fender logo off the case and keep it?

Well, I think so. I didn't care or even looked at that, I was more preoccupied about the bass. But after all I think it is a cheap shot.

Congrats Sly, great score! Just curious - what was the body wood they used at that time, and what is the weight? Thanks...
