That's Vik Cassis's ad. I'll send him an email and suggest he become a member.

Look at what he isn't selling:

"Resonator, Charvel w/Kahler, 1998 Wal, 1978 Ricky 4001 w/ Bardens and Hipshot bridge, Ruokangas Steambass, Status w/fret leds, 5 string Alembic, and my faithful wife of almost 37 years and more than 5000 shows...the 1st lefty Steinberger."

Wow, he has a very diverse, and excellent variety of basses/manufacturers represented here!

Vic contacted me out of the blue last year (I think he saw me on Arni's site) and asked if I'd be interested in any of the basses he's selling. (Because Barrie is just 45 minutes up the road from Toronto.) I told him about this site then but I don't think he was interested. He seemed like a nice guy from my limited email conversation with him. I did mention to him at the time that the prices were a little - shall we say - hopeful. He wasn't very interested in negotiating and thinks he's got them priced right. But...... that was over a year ago and all the basses he contacted me about are still there. $3000 CAD for the T-Bird ($2250 USD) is a little much. I believe another one came up here last week for under $2000 USD. Plus, I'm not sure he's willing to ship. All of this leads me to believe the situation might be something like the ol' "My wife says I have too many basses and need to get rid of some. I'll put them up for sale for unreasonable prices so it looks like I'm trying." If I recall, he originally wanted $3500 CAD for the T-Bird and $2500 CAD for the Les Paul. So maybe he is coming around to appropriate market value after all.

Those prices are most definitely "optimistic".

Good luck to him.
