Yeah, I would be curious to see what the routing looks like underneath that custom pickup plate. I doubt it could be too bad as the plate isn't that big. It also matches the body wood very well. At first I was thinking that it perhaps originally came with a humbucker, but it was removed in favor of a split-coil, but it doesn't look like the routing is big enough. It really looks to be in great shape!

From what I have seen, this is actually a pretty good price. I have never played an instrument with an aluminum neck. I'd like to give it a try!
The description says it has a coil-tap. How does that work with a split-coil pickup?
