Listing says it's a USA P-bass but looks more like a MIJ E series to me. And krusty!

Made In Japan 100% I had the same bass / same year in white. Not a bad P bass but false advertising.

Ended listing due to an error it says...
He must be a board member :)
I bet it's a medium scale too like the one I bought for Zecacosta! Those are really nice basses.

I contacted the seller and sent link to show serial dating and explanation. He kindly fixed the listing. Don't think he is a board member.

Yes, the 32" scale are a nice playing bass. This one could be that. Mine had the same crappy tuners as this one.

and new link with higher price

It's a 32' scale. As far as I know the only way you can tell from pictures is from the serial #. The turners are typical MIJ or CIJ style, but they can be found on a lot of full size Japanese Fender Jazz and P basses. I bought one off of Ebay a number of years ago by mistake, before I knew they existed, thinking I was getting a good deal on a full size Fender. When I brought it to the sellers attention and complained, his reply was " Well you didn't ask"
After going around with him I got him to refund a few hundred and decided to keep it because it was a great sounding and playing bass. Good you got this listing corrected.
