All, these are great basses for the price, I purchased from a different seller but shipments from Japan can be very quick. I have one of these basses, they look good with vintage PU covers. I added dual stacked controls to mine as well.

Good looking bass!
I have a vintage white one made in the 80's it is my favorite Jazz (the one in my avatar).
The neck on mine is the thinnest neck I have ever encountered on a Jazz bass, even more so than the MIJ Geddy Lee model.

I have two P-basses I imported from Ishibashi, before Fender did what they always do.. mess with us leftys, and stopped them from selling to us direct. They're really well made, nice sounding basses. I have a sunburst Fender Japan Jazz Bass, that I bought on E-bay about 14 years ago. I replaced all the period incorrect hardware with the 'right' parts, and it is a really great bass. I NEVER, EVER have to adjust the neck on it, it's that stable. If I had some savings now, I might have bought this. Their prices have been increasing quite a bit, as the Fender American series goes, so does the cost of the Japanese basses.
