Headstock looks like it was used to roast marshmallows or something. Listing is ambiguous as to whether the bass is functional.

It says in the listing that it is sold "for parts or not working".
Looks like it was removed from a fire before it get totally toasted. The case is not original from the bass so i assume the case got burned.?

Too much for a for-parts-or-significant-repair ibby, IMO.

No doubt. This one needs to be inspected in person.

THE NECK HAS A NICE PATINA BUT THE LOGO DOES SHOW WEAR -- THE CASE HAS 2 DAMAGED LATCHES AND GUITAR HAS HAIRLINE CRACK ON VERY BOTTOM SEE PIC - DOES NOT EFFECT PLAYABILITY .
Does that means the bass is playable?
Looking at it it seems to be alright.

Either way, it's too expensive. These are $300 basses in working condition.

I think the poor quality of the pictures is responsible for a lot of it, but it does look a bit thrashed under the pick guard

Just for the heck of it, last week I asked the seller if the bass was in playing condition or not, if there's anything wrong with the neck or what makes it being listed as a parts or non working item and he didn't even answered that so good luck for the bidders :x
