VG price comparing with what's out there.
I sold a 4 strings on eBay about 3 years ago for the same price, the listing lasted less than an hour!

I agree with Paulo. The price makes up for the vandalism.

Going to check it out tomorrow. I'll follow up with findings (or news of a new bass) afterward...

The price totally makes up for the extra strap button! Everything else is just a matter of setup on a Warwick with the original Just-a-nut. Just change the order of the saddles back, change the order of the nut screws back, set the intonation and set everything to the desired height and you're done. This appears to be an oldie, late 80s or early 90s. Looks very nice!

If my MIA deluxe sells I would be all over this. FYI the Bass Place here in AZ has LH brass 5 string just a nut in stock.

Meeting him in a few. It's an '89 model.

Yeah...I had talked myself out of it on the way to his place, but once I laid my hands on it, I was helpless...it sounds unreal, and the weight and shape just feels amazing. It's in great shape, especially considering it's 27 years old. I'll have to spend a whopping $200 on a new nut, but otherwise should be set.

Why does it need a new nut? Didn't it come with a Just-a-nut with individually adjustable string height? You can just unscrew the individual screws and change the order.

In fact it did! I stumbled across this last night, so pleased I'm not having to dump more into it. Working on it now, will have playable soon...
