I'm trying to raise some funds for a non musical related reason so that's why i'm posting a few basses for sale.
As a few of you saw on the other topic i had this bass refinished in clear Viper Red. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6845
There's a G&L padded bag included on the deal, selling it for $500 plus shipping for board members.

What is the width at the nut? Is the neck profile on this more like a jazz or a P?

I have to double check but it sure feels thicker than a JB. I would say closer to P.

I think the spec says 1.75". My tribby measures out to 1 11/16".

I love it. I've balked at scooping up a used SB-2 because they have a jazz neck, 1.5" nut. Gonna wait until I can afford to order one with an L2K neck.

Good move.

I finally got around to doing the single-coil mod on my tribby last night. It was already my favorite bass. Now it's my extra special favorite.

Good sound demo here. Single coil (both coils) starts at 0:20 or so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QbllQPiLDE

sorry I missed out on this one. Have been looking for one in anything but natural finish. If you change your mind in the future let me know, I would definitely buy it. Thanks
