What do these basses usually go for? I'm like 30 minutes from Harrisburg.

It seems a little high. But I hear they're great basses and I don't see a lot pop up. It's a nice color and it does come with the case. So I don't think I would balk at the price if I could get my hands on it and it played well. You may be able to haggle. I would say it's worth the drive.

Looking at Ebay it seems right handed ones sell in the 2-300 range. I just bought a house and don't feel like paying more than double for a lefty especially when I have a ray style bass already....Maybe if he drops his price and I free up some money.

Left hand models are indeed rare, and seldom come up on the open market. They do sell for more than right handed models, usually in the $300/400 dollar range. I had one (which I recently sold), and remember my winning bid on eBay was about $360.

My ATK305L 5-string, which I bought through eBay Germany, cost me close to $600 by the time I paid for shipping and international PayPal fees....

$450 is a bit too pricey.... $325/350/375 would be more realistic, but when I was jones-ing for one some years back, I would have paid $400 for it.
