See, now that's a nice bass in its own right. Nice to see a sensible starting bid, too. Maybe I spooked him when I asked why his pictures were of someone else's bass.

Of course I wouldn't trust anything of his now. If I were even considering it, I'd want pictures of the neck / pocket / electronics.

How can that be a 1975 Precision when there's an S8***** serial number on the headstock? Must be made somewhere between 1977 and 1983, they've used those necks on lefty instruments for several years. The Fender website will tell you December 1977 - December 1978, but this does not hold true for lefty instruments. They must have stockpiled lefty necks from that year up to the early 80s.

IDK why Ebay didn't do anything, these posts are so fishy.

Maybe I'm just overly suspicious now, but something doesn't look right about the wear on the front of the body. I'm trying to figure out what playing style would cause that.

Some righty playing a lefty bass upside down. Nothing more stupid. Like they don't have enough right handed basses.

He's not getting money and he's not getting feedback. That's why I can only guess that he's trying to screw with the market by creating a string of bogus sales.

Same seller, same pictures, same description... only now, he's trying to get $3250 for it - up from $1375!
