2011 Fender American Standard Precision Bass

I bought this lefty from a local store in October 2014. I’d read about the high quality of the newer American Fenders and wanted to experience one firsthand. This bass lives up to the hype, especially re: fretwork, neck fit, tuners, bridge, weight, etc.

I thought it was going to be the last P-Bass I’d ever buy, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to buy my dream ’73 and I just can’t justify keeping two P-Basses.

All-original, three-piece alder body in sunburst, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. Weighs 8.4 lbs. No fretwear. Brand new Guardian hard case. Body has some very small surface scratches and dings; you really have to look closely to see them.

It has the 60-year commemorative neck plate with a serial number that begins with US10, so it was most likely made in early 2011.

$825 plus insured shipping from San Jose, California. I’d prefer to ship to US or Canada but if you’re elsewhere, just let me know.

Thanks.

Geoff

I've got more pictures, but when I try to add them, I get:

"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

The case for electric bass is the second one on the list (CG-020-B).

I'm looking in to it. Shouldn't be a quota.

Looks like I can add pics again.

Thanks Andrew. For this, and everything you do here.

I have the exact same bass, same year and neck plate and it's a total keeper. Perfect build with no issues of any kind and sets up like a dream. Seems like the quality of the American Standards has been pretty consistently good since 2008 so this one is likely just as sweet as mine and would be killer. Good luck with the sale!

Man, if I didn't have the same finish in the 2012 model, I'd be all over this! I kinda want a different finish though... GLWTS!
