I'm moving, so I need to move a few basses. Up first my Hohner B2A-V. I've played it for about fifteen minutes. It's as-new. There are no problems
with it at all. Very well-built. I love the bass, but I'm just not into fives, so it must go.

I'm basing this sale off a a recent B2AV sale...

34" Scale
Tw-octave, rosewood fretboard
Solid, maple through-body neck
Quilted maple top - maple body wings
Two passive EVL JJ pickups
Active pre-amp with on/off switch
Controls: Volume, volume, stacked active treble/bass tone

I'll ship this bass in a "full-sized" padded tweed gig bag for protection.

$600 shipped to the CONUS

Thanks!

You may have heard me say this on more than one occasion, but I love these basses. They are super-light, super-comfortable, they are built rock-solid and they play like a dream. For something you can throw in an overhead bin on an airplane (with a Steiny-sized gig bag, of course), you just can't beat it for the money.

+1

I've now given my 4 string Hohner to my son as he's picking up a bit of bass playing, but up until I did that, it was by far the most versatile bass in my arsenal, particularly for travelling, playing gigs where I didn't feel my bass would be safe, or going to rehersals when I didn't want to carry a bass across NYC's transportation system...

This bass sold for full asking price to someone in France through Ebay's global shipping program.
I didn't realize I was enrolled in this program, and the seller has zero feedback... but he paid through
PayPal and the money is in my account. I shipped the bass to Ebay's shipping facility and they take care
of the rest. I didn't fill out any forms or pay for International shipping.

Here's hoping this isn't a scam...

As long as the transaction on Paypal had the status of "Seller Protection: Elegible," then you are okay, or if the payment method was "Instant" (which means a direct deposit from their bank account, not a credit card). Otherwise, you could be in trouble. They could have paid through Paypal with a stolen credit card number. The money shows up in your account but if there is a chargeback, they will take the money back.

The eBay shipping program is just a shipping service (separate from how the buyer pays), which it's pretty expensive for the buyer, but you are still responsible for making sure the money transaction was done correctly.

Yeah, I read those articles after the sale. In my ad, I had put free shipping in the CONUS, which is why I was surprised by the sale. It does show that I'm protected,
which is why I sent it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have...

I had a cheap guitar that i sold about 2 years ago in the same programe without knowing that i was enrolled, the check box was marked automatically and the guitar was sold and shipped to Russia. After 3 months i've got a message saying that the package size was irregular to the country laws and was destroyed. I had to call Ebay about 8 times, every time they said they where going to release the funds and nothing happened. Took me about 4 months to get the money from them. Then i sold the ASJB to a guy in Ireland and i shipped it to the global shipping center and it got shipped to him. Everything was fine but i had to call Ebay about 4 times after the bass was delivered cause they didn't released the funds. It took over a month to get the funds into my account.
