Cool.

It's unique how the two humbuckers have such different footprints.

I think it would look cooler if the sculpting on the lower horn went all the way around the body. But, that's just me. I find flat-top guitars and basses in general to be quite bland.

I want to buy a Schecter just to support a company that's so good to us lefties.

Most people say that Schecter makes great instruments, with the only downside being crap resale value. That's fine by me, I'm all for a good used deal, but ironically there don't seem to be too many used lefty Schecter basses floating around, or at least not one of the models I'm interested in.

I was watching what I thought was a good deal on eBay this week, but after looking at the pictures a couple of times I noticed that the headstock was all wrong. Wrong tuners, wrong nut, decal in the wrong spot, a decal on back that said "Made in China" instead of South Korea, a guitar pick that may have been cleverly placed to hide something else.... Best I could figure was that it's an "SGR" model that doesn't match the Korean model in the catalog for that year. Probably a fine instrument, but not the good deal I thought it was, and not something I'd take a risk on without playing it first.

Anyway, something to watch out for if you're looking at Schecters online.

Yeah, I just sold a Schecter guitar on eBay recently; an Omen 006 Elite. It is a great guitar. Solid construction, light weight, plays great and sounds great, especially with the EMG-81/SA pickup set I had in it.
... it sold for $152 (without the EMGs). I told the guy he got a fantastic deal. Oh, well. I only paid about $250 for it a few years prior, and it was well worth every penny.

I've always wanted one of the Stiletto/Studio 8-stringers and have come close to buying one on two occasions.

Maybe one day..............

I dig the Stargazer, but haven't seen one of those in left handed.

Looks like the Stiletto Vintage would get you most of the way there, although the Stargazer is a lot prettier.
