I am digging this Carvin 6 string with the Warwick preamp - the tone is killer. Here's a sample:

This jam was recorded in Garageband clean amp setting. I had the bass and treble boosted a little on the bass, and a little compression on the amp setting. The B string is so powerful on this bass, maybe a little too much (I think it needs a pickup height adjustment) but I am enjoying it.
