Yeah, not a word of description and only one picture.

That's not much of an effort for what they hope to get.

When you go to their web page they do not even have a pic just a note after 30 years they are closing shop and have a huge list of stuff to sell and an email address for more information.

http://www.harris-hire.co.uk/

They also have a left handed 63P Bass for sale ($8770 USD) but again no pictures. I have a 64P bass I love that I got for a little less a couple of years ago from a fellow board member.

BTW, this jazz is beat up but a real road worn bass has a cool vibe but should take away from the value as mint instruments should be priced higher. I believe anyone maybe able to make a reasonable offer if they supply good pics inside and out.

'66 is one of the expensive years but I would never put a dollar down on any vintage Fender without playing it, no matter how good the description and pictures. Mojo is just there or it isn't.

I'm seeing 4 pictures in the listing now, though none are of a full length image. And yeah, no description is a red flag to me.

A bass insured for $6700 and professionally packed by the shipper (best way to make sure your ass is covered if something does happen) will cost pretty close to that.
