Found this place by accident. They basically specialize in Asian built knockoffs, particularly Rickenbackers, but they have varying levels of quality and price range. They seem to be well-organized, with a legitimate international CS force, distribution, etc. They claim they'll build anything and that nothing they're doing is illegal as long as the headstock doesn't bear the logo of the company they're ripping off (Not sure how accurate that is). I was intrigued by their double neck Ricks, so I contacted them and a sales rep wrote back within minutes with a very thorough response. (though I still question his comment that their double necks typically run 26lbs!).

Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think.

The website is all over the place, here is one inconsistency.

For a you can get Alder for $120 however the double version for Alder is $80 (should be more wood for a doubleneck body correct?)

I do not have any experience but would suggest get standard pots and tuners (no upgrades) and if the bass plays OK, I am assuming it plays like every other made in Korea Bass. Then perhaps think about new electronics and tuners.

 Yes, it's an abyss of a website. I only found about them and the lefty double necks when I googled, "Lefty double neck basses." And my e-mail exchange left me further confused. (It turns out nothing's in stock, so the price listed is a base price that you then have to add additional specs to, and when you add an item to your cart it only means you're placing an order for build, which takes 21 days).

Less wood for a double-neck - looking at mine now...
