$639 for this guy. Retail is $1049.

I really do like the looks of it. But, my place is starting to get cluttered 8-), so I am at the point where I am hesitant to pull the trigger because I am not sure that I will have a use for it.

I wish I could just play around with one of these for a few minutes.

Very nice, but it's got to be a damn long bass, considering the 24 fret neck and the space behind the bridge... Not for club gigs..

That hadn't occurred to me. Good observation. Imagine if it had an inline headstock!

This seems based more on the Spector basses Sixx played than his Gibson basses.

Haha! Well, I bought it.

I am inebriated to a notable degree whilst watching the Mayweather/Berto fight with some friends and I offered $480 before shipping. Within only a few minutes, the seller accepted, which is surprising considering it is past midnight on a Saturday night.

Damn. If the seller accepts your first offer, you offered too much, haha! I hope it's worth it. It's much less than half of retail so I feel like I got an okay deal.

I will let you know what it's like!

Ha! That's my role! I was in a Motley Crue cover band about 10 years ago. We all dressed like "Shout at the Devil" era Crue. It was a blast but we had to stop because we were going to end up dead or in jail. Yes, we took the Crue personas that far... See my avatar for a picture of me in action... ;)

Good luck with the bass. I'm jealous!

Fortunately the white powder we snorted on stage was powdered sugar... It still sent many the club owner into a tizzy fit!! ;-)
