What kind of wood so you suppose it is that body is made of?

Good question... the wood grain looks like a good ol' alder but the darker streaks seen in the pics resemble black korina a lot...

...and the fretboard could have been tinted, hence the price might be off.

Anybody else wants to guess? ;)

Just a heads up. It might be a Warmoth body but I'm pretty sure it's not a Warmoth neck. A Warmoth neck wouldn't have a skunk stripe. The value would really depend on the make of the parts and that seems to up to question.
