relatively food price. What's more surprising to me is the lack of Walnut basses made available to the N.A. market. The vast majority of them ended up in Europe.

Bill's Music House in Catonsville, MD has a Walnut Rick. Also, they told me they have a number of Rick 4003 lefties in different colors, but I was surprised when they told me they had the Walnut Rick. I was very tempted to make the ride up there.

Just proceed with caution. This seller isn't an authorized dealer, so no warranty. Also, no return policy.

also forgot to mention that when at NAMM, I didn't think the finish on the Walnut anything's were all that thick. It felt like I would be able to make a dent in them using my thumbnail. Of course, this may no longer be the case, or it may have been an isolated one, but I did want to put that out there.

For what it's worth, I used to own an older 4004Cii with walnut body wings and it only had a light oil finish. If they are using the same sort of thinking with these new walnut instruments, it would stand to reason that it is likely an oil rub as well.
