Not very familiar with Ricks so I have to trust your judgement!
What gives it away? The color? The shape?
The top body wing appears to curve towards the top like a Fender, which is not something RIC has ever done. The top edge is rounded like a 4003s, but it has binding like a 4003, which the 4003s does not have.
The color is not a color RIC has ever made. The closest thing they ever made to it is a blue burst, but that was the 2005 color of the year, not 2012. It could be a custom finish, but surely the seller would have mentioned that, as well as the mirror pickguard.
The toaster in the neck would be a modification - also not mentioned.
The bridge pickup cover is too tall and square
The fretboard is too dark. It should be bubinga.
The inlays are upside-down and are not full-width, which is not correct for 2012.
The headtock wings should be walnut, and therefore substantially darker than the center. RIC has not used maple headstock wings for years.

I never really "got" what a Rick is capable of until I ran it stereo a few times in my college band. We used to call it the "Piano of Doom". You get all the bottom and all the top in total a**kicking mode.
