If Dennis is right, the 3 copper burst are accounted for: me, AustinLeftyBass, and stillcenter...

I'm going to let you guys be the guinea pigs for this bass (my bass buying history in the last year has been fraught with peril). I hope they turn out to be cool.

Anyone know if it's possible/practical to replace that bridge with one that has independent adjustable saddles?
I know some Longhorn models came with one stock. Is the bridge offered aftermarket?

Ive got a couple one china one korea.
the korean came stock with the adjustable bridge but the china one came with the wooden one.
I changed mine but it wasnt a direct swap. We had to dowel up some holes and redrill. nothing to hard
and i also replaced the aluminum nuts

i think the korean one are lot better than the new China one

Thomann agreed to get me one. No extra charge. This saves me about 150-200 euros in taxes and shipping cost. Nice. :) How long you guys have to wait for yours to ship? Mine is more than 3 moths..

Has anyone heard from Adirondack on these lately? I put my deposit down in early April and haven't heard anything since.

I've heard nothing from Adirondack since reserving one. I emailed a week or two ago to ask about an ETA on the bass but no reply.

No affiliation but exchanged emails with Madison Guitars owner Chance McFadden. Seems like a no-nosense, honest, retailer.

50 lefty Longhorns! 50?

I talked to my local Dano dealer and told him I preferred black, but would be happy with coppe rburst, but he didn't order it last week. So I reiterated that copper burst is fine, and that they are only making 50 of them, so hopefully he orders me one this week.

Pretty cool that these Lefty Longhorns are here (for us!), really. A Dano should be on everyone wall.
But it made me think of a flipped righty, where I actually prefer the angle of the pickups..(just a phase I hope) :)
