May take awhile for this project to happen, but I've always wanted to paint a bass using the color-code from my old '61 Cadillac Convertible. It's called Pompeian Red, and is just a cool color, with a bit of flake in it! Here's my original Caddy (wish I still had it!), and another Caddy from the color-code website...

By the way, this was the same Caddy featured in the movie "My Cousin Vinny", with Joe Pesci, and Marisa Tomei (who won a best supporting Oscar for her role). This car was built two years only, 1961/62, and was a Real Land-Yacht. I Blue-printed the engine in mine, and I'm not kidding, this car could easily do 130 mph down the freeway... on I-5 in California, late at night, of course! Love the color on this car, and wish I still owned it!
