I've never been a fan of acoustic basses, largely because I've yet to encounter one that could project without amplified, but I would be curious to hear your opinions and comparisons of some of the models he has, particularly the Boulder Creek, Warwick Alien, and Goldtone Resonator. My recollection of the Boulder Creek when I played one at NAMM was it wasn't half bad.
Last year I was invited by the owner of Boulder Creek to try his lefty acoustic bass. He is located in Morgan Hill, Ca. but those instruments are made in Asia. I actually really liked it (and he was ready to sell it for a crazy good price). Honestly it played and sounded really good. He mentioned that another lefty bassist came before to try it and I am pretty sure it was Gravesbass.
