I'd be cautious about the aftermarket bridge on that one. While BAII's are perfectly suited to a vintage style Fender (even desirable for a 'player'), it's not the best aftermarket bridge choice, IMO, for the modern-era Am. Std series of the past 19 years.

It's obviously covering the through-body stringing holes and the factory bridge is a three hole pattern so the BAII wasn't a drop-in replacement.

Also, why talk about the scratch but not include a photo?

It's a shame, because I do think that Leo Quan made a Bad Ass (III maybe?) that was a drop in replacement for string-throughs. I've never used one but I think that was the gist of it.
