It's strange that there is rust on the pole pieces and bridge already. That kind of makes me wonder if it was left out in the elements :(

Even so, that's a good price.

Bass is 17 years old. I've had pole pieces rust in a couple summers of sweating on the bass at outdoor gigs.

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Hmm.. the string spacing / alignment with pole pieces actually looks correct with it that way. :?

Yep ,as it turns out with the saddle that far up and the adjustment screw at that angle the slot in the saddle falls in the correct spot.I know I'm stating the obvious, but easy fix just flip it over.
