I'd like a parchment white or mint guard for my Stingray bass. Anyone know where I can get a lefty one?

I've always had good luck with WD. Good fit, prices and quick delivery. http://www.wdmusic.com/guards_bass_musicman.html Down side is they upcharge 10% for lefty.(I hate that)

I do not see your model on the web page but perhaps they have them as they have many different styles.

No upcharge for lefties, careful as you can get carried away with the graphical images in that place :o .

Just a word about Greasy Groove. I've ordered from them a couple of times and it's always been REALLY slow. When I've contacted them after the order they've NEVER gotten back to me. Once, the item didn't arrive after 6 weeks. (I was on tour so didn't notice.) After trying to get in touch with them a half dozen times, I finally sent them a rather pointed email explaining why I would not ever buy anything from them ever again. I finally received the item a week later and it was clearly postmarked the day after my email.

I'm in Canada and so it Greasy Groove. No customs or anything to blame it on. The products are great. No problem there. But the customer service is the pits.

I can recommend WD as well. I bought a SR5 replacement from them years ago.

I have ordered pickguards from different places and I have often been disappointed. Last one I ordered was from Warmoth, it was cheap and fitted perfectly. About $30 for parchement. Keep in mind that parchement is actually quite white. The one I ordered was a mint one for PBass and it was very nice. Come to think about it I am not sure Warmoth would have Stingray pickguards

Andrew, even though I never did business with them, Jimmy at Southpaw gave me a tort pickguard made for my American Jazz Deluxe (they only came with mint and gold pickguards) that fit the bass perfectly and was really good material. The jazz deluxe has a smaller pickguard than a traditional jazz bass. It was made by Chandler Pickguard Heaven. Let me know if you need a picture, and I'll do what I can. I have used the original pickguard and the tort pickguard interchangeably with the bass.

Tony over at Pickguardian can make anything in any color or material. He's who I used when I was building
as Scream Basses.
