The only warning I would make on these is the neck is HUGELY thick. Imagine the 1950s LP guitar profile, then scale it UP for a bass. I have a vintage EB-0 and EB3 which have very narrow nuts and neck profiles in short scale and a new T-bird that's long, but about J-bass width at the nut and a new SG bass that's short scale but fatter than the old ones. I played a LP bass at NAMM and it's MUCH thicker than the new SGs, which is much thicker than the T-bird. Small hands beware (like me).

What was the scale length on these? Weren't the original LP basses 30-1/2"? I would think if these are long scale that without the benefit of an upper horn that 1st fret on the neck would feel like it's a mile away. And how well do these balance?
