we've implemented a new 'rule' at the Rodent household - every Monday is officially "everybody eats left handed day" at the Rodent household. exchange students .. family members .. friends .. business clients .. etc ... if it's Monday and we're sharing any kind of food or beverage at the Rodent house or RGW ranch, you eat left handed or voluntarily go hungry/thirsty. only opt out is for somebody who has a physical handicap that prevents their participation

if you're not already doing something similar at your house, I highly recommend it

you may even notice that the 'force lefties to do it righty' attitude of others soon changes to one of understanding :D

all the best,

R

Not only that, but learning to do things offhanded is good for your brain.

Does that mean if I came to your house, and stayed for a week(!), I'd have to eat right handed from Tuesday thru Sunday? I broke my arm in the 8th grade, had my arm in a cast for two months, and was forced to eat right handed then... still have nightmares about that! :)
