Maybe not really world famous, but a lefty playing left handed and upside-down.

The case says "Glazed Baby #4." I bought it from the London Music guitar shop in Seattle in about 1994ish. They said Glazed Baby came through on tour and unloaded the guitar for some extra cash. It was noted that Jimi Hendrix's father wanted him to play right handed, Jimi had to learn to play left handed when his father was not around. It was not easy being left handed back in the day.

I went to Catholic school in the '60's. Yes they tried right there in 1st grade to make me switch. BUT, my father was a left handed house framer. He came in after working in the sun all day, burly, tan, weather beaten, with a hammer holster (on his left hip) and a Stanley knife on his belt, with a scowl that could make a nun step back and think twice. She did. I did learn to write making the proper slant they wanted, but it was still left handed.
