Not an insane deal, but could entice someone looking for an inexpensive knockaround or backup:

Schecter C-4 Deluxe Left Handed - $200.32

That price didn't last long, it's @ $449 now. I'm wondering if the lower prices were some sort of mistake by amazon and those particular basses were mistakingly placed on the blow out list by sku #. Dropping a price then coming back and making more drops, each day, kinda makes me think so.

Basshappi, my first bass was/is a Riot 4 DLX Schecter. Still have it and play it, daily, every other week as I do all of em. Schecters I also have are an Omen Extreme, Elite 4, & Devil Tribal 4. Bought ea one for cheap but in good condition. My fav.....my baby, the Riot. It had a good set up right outta the box. Only change I made to it was strap locks, (cuz I'm clumsy) and I re-strung it with GHS Precision Flats.

Wish the Baron H was on sale. Looks great tho' I'm not keen on active circuits.

OK fellow lefties, here it is! Looks gorgeous, plays nice, a bit on the heavy side (10lbs) but I can certainly can not complain for the price I paid!

Wow, that's a great looking bass! I hope you like the sound as much as you like the looks!

Good point, but having owned a Stiletto Custom, a Stiletto Studio and even an Exotic, I am biased towards Schecter: I think their basses are underrated. This one, as the others, is very enjoyable to play and sounds great through my Markbass CMD 102...

I got my Stiletto Studio 4 as well. The same for me, nice bass, good sound, easy to play, and plenty happy with the price. The E B roundwounds need to go though. I think flats would be much better.
I agree w/you Yolly about Schecters being a bit underrated.

Agreed, I'm very happy with mine too. Good looks, comfortable to play, Stingray-like tone, what's not to like? :)

Does your bass have any issues with the paint around the bolts holding the neck onto the body? Mine looks like the washers under the heads of the bolts were slightly larger than the recesses in the body, which caused the edges of the washers to scratch the paint in the recesses when the neck was bolted on. It's a minor cosmetic issue that nobody will see, so I'm not worried about it. I'll clean it up someday if I ever take the neck off. I'm just curious if they all have that issue or just mine (knowing my luck, probably just mine :) )

Hi l0rider, understand what you mean, but I do not have the same. Though I have to say that the two middle washers barely fit in the hole, but did not scratch the paint. Please see pic of mine, all white traces are camera flashes...

...and look at the positive side: maybe you have a thicker layer of varnish, lucky you :)

Yeah, let's go with that. :D Thanks for posting the pictures. I tried to get a picture of the bolt holes on mine, but I couldn't get one to turn out. I'm OK with it, I'm still very happy with the bass. I'm thinking about wiring up a coil tap switch for even more tone options. I think it would be very easy to do, and very easy to undo if it doesn't work out (until I drill a hole in the body for the switch, of course).

I noticed that Schecter just launched an updated web site. They are not listing the Damien Elite-5 as available left-handed anymore, only the Elite-4. Looks like we got two of the last ones they are going to make. :(
