Any one here try or use the Amtweaker Tight Metal Pro or Tight Fuzz Bass? I'm thinking of getting one of these in the near future - leaning towards the Metal Pro - and would value any opinions you may have.

Never tried it bur you might check over at pedalsandeffects.com, Juan Alderete's board, as he is a big fan of the Amptweker pedals.

I'm curious about them but I splurged on pedals lately so I need to slow the roll on them. What are you using these days Mark?

Well, not a whole lot actually. The tunes for the band I'm in do not call for fuzz/distortion, so I'm using a Durham Sex Drive to get a little compression and grind into the mix.

I'm going to do a separate post about it soon, but I just got a Brimstone Audio XD-1 crossover distortion. Oh Mama! Such a good sounding pedal. I think you'd really dig it.

short and skinny answer is I ordered an Amptweaker Tight Bass Fuzz from ebay today. I also liked the METAL Pro fuzz, for all practical purposes the Tight Bass will be more practical for my band's repertoire.
I do really dig the Metal Pro, but I don't think it would ever make it out of the bedroom ... unless I join a metal band ... which is not very likely .......
