There's definitely something about the necks on Rod's instruments - they're just so slick. I've said it before and I'll say it again: these things stand close comparison with anything I've ever played.

The sunburst looks great, no sure on the no pick guard though. Black or tortoiseshell would look pretty neat on the sunburst, just my thoughts.

Too bad these are gone, I really like mine. It out P's my '78 P-bass.
