Just read about these on the Bass Outpost and inquired about them being available left handed and I'm told that YES, they will be offered left handed (though not certain if right away or down the road).

Well, I can tell you it has "lady lips" and a "chicken switch". What more do you need to know?!

Yeah, I think you're right. A little more googling and they get pretty good reviews. This from the Gibson discussion board:

"I've been looking into a new semi lately, and discovered that Guitar's 'n Jazz in Summit, NJ (outside NYC) and The Jazz Guitar Zone are now distributing Peerless guitars in the US, the web, and on eBay. If I understand correctly, Peerless guitars are made in Korea (same factory as Gretsch) and are on par with Epiphone standard models and may even use some of the same parts. They used to make guitars for Epiphone and Fender and at one point they were pumping out about 30,000 a month so not exactly handmade, but nonetheless pretty appealing for the money. I've found mixed reviews, some indicating that like Epi, they need setups and electronics upgrades. Still, they make some models that are interesting, and the price is very attractive."

Since Gibson told me they wouldn't be making lefty Jack Casadys, maybe this is the way it's going to be done?

jerrysleftyguitars is an authorized Peerless distributor. If there is enough interest here, he can order a batch made. IIRC, I think he needs to order 12 at a time. Jerry would not require much of a deposit.

However, IIRC again, Peerless are not the quickest of mfgr's to bang out lefty batches.

I checked with Jerry earlier today, he wasn't aware of this- and he had just received a recent Peerless price list. So either it's REAL new or it's not real. He's checking on it.

If we can get pricing on these maybe we can try to organize 12 orders Marc.
