Hi, Maybe you guys know more about this subject.
I'm looking for a good fender japan import shop that ships international.
The japanes market has a lot more lefty basses ans guitars and overall good quality.

They used to.
Then they put up a notice that said they won't sell new Japan made Fenders to USA customers. You might try them anyway.
The website is difficult but look for the Fender Japan option and then under that you can select basses and then Left handed. (By the way, some of the english translations are hilarious)
Best way to buy from them is to contact them by Email. They will take a few days to reply but once you get down to business you will find they have excellent prompt customer service.

I'm considering ordering a '75 Jazz Bass reissue from them. I've had email contact with Ken from Guitar Shogun, he seems like a friendly and helpful guy. I'm very interested in hearing other peoples opinions on Guitar Shogun.

Well my transaction went smooth as silk with Guitar Shogun. He quoted me a price including shipping, i sent him payment via Paypal, and I had my bass 5 days later. Other than Ken, the only other dealer I've seen selling lefty MIJ stuff is this guy on ebay, and his prices are comparable or a little higher. Here's a listing for a sunburst '75 J. he's also got lefty Jaguars, Aerodynes, and a Jaco fretless listed right now too:

Unfortunately, the yen to dollar rate is ridiculous right now, even higher than when I bought my bass. I'd wait it out personally, though I know the feeling that when you've got to have it, you've got tto have it!
